Do you know this british film ? Yes maybe you think it's a film for boy because the title of this film talks about Beckam, but it's not true !!!!! I think it's especially for girls because it's the story of a Indian girl, Jess, (Parminder Nagra) who spends all her time playing football (and David Beckham it's her idol) although her religion doesn't allows her to play it. In addition, her sister will marry soon. One day, she is spotted by Jules (Keira Knightley) who invites her in her football club. She meets here the beautiful Joe (Jonathan Rhys-Meyer), the coach of this regional women's football team, the Hounslow Harriers. But Jess has to face the opposition of her parents. So she decides to play in secret and small unforeseen will occur ... I think this film it's a lovely story of a Indian who is caught between two worlds she loves and she would reconcile. This film also talks about the right of women to do things she likes even if it's "boy" things and the indian religion which is sometimes hard to bear.
